Do you remember how good it felt to be together in Sacred Space?

Even across the screen, there was so much joy in that space — everyone reconnecting with their mesas, hearing the stories, and feeling the medicine begin to move again as people opened their bundles and laid out their stones out on the cloth.

It reminded me how powerful this path is, and how alive the mesa becomes the moment we start practicing again.

And at the same time… it reminded me of something else.

As beautiful as that gathering was online, there is a different kind of magic that happens when we come together in person.

When the mesas are laid out side by side. A mastai, a yanachaqui.

When we warm our hands and make offerings at the same fire.

When the laughter, stories, prayers, and medicine begin weaving together in the same physical space.

It’s powerful.
And honestly, it’s hard to describe until you’ve experienced it.

That’s why I wanted to send this note.

In just a short while, we’ll be gathering for the Spring Equinox Mesa Carrier Gathering at Menla — a few days for mesa carriers and Four Winds graduates to come together in practice, ceremony, and community.

This moment we are living in is asking something of us.

It feels like an important time for those of us who carry medicine to come together — not just to remember the teachings, but to dream and create new visions for the world that is emerging.

At the gathering we will:

✨ practice together and deepen our medicine
✨ learn from wisdom keepers who have walked with their mesas for decades
✨ reconnect with our shaman family
✨ connect to the fires around the world, gathering at theEquinox fire to plant seeds of intention for the earth

If your mesa felt alive again during our Zoom circle, this gathering may be calling you.

And if your mesa has been resting quietly for a while, this may be a beautiful moment to awaken the medicine again.
