Struggling through menopause? Something to help.

Many years agoReader, and years before I was even in peri-menopause, one of my mentors suggested to me (and the group of women I was with) that hotflashes were the body's attempt to burn out impurities (of body, mind, and spirt).

I filed that away for my future journey to madrina (another expression for crone, learned from the same mentor).

Hotflashes came and went for me, I didn't mind them because they were "clearing me out." My mom called them "her own personal summers."

For me what came with menopause included hormone changes, that led to some memory challenges, and achey shoulders, and yes a change in body shape. I remember waking up one day and looking in the mirror and seeing the same kinds of proportionate changes I had seen in the mirror when I first went through puberty. Hormones are powerful!

My life's work and love is supporting people like you in having a healthy joyful life and health span that matches your lifespan. Your daily practices lead you toward peace, joy, and wellness (or away from joy).

We have the capacity to create and be in this kind of life and world (more on that soon).

This includes life "after menopause".

During pandemia - I met Tess Masters and decided to jump into her 60 day reset as a way of shaking off a few pandemic-pounds. I did not anticipate that all my "symptoms of aging" that everyone had told me were inevitable would disppear.
